Il rock di qualità suona su Radio Music for Peace.

BLUR – SPARKS – THE KILLS – SPARKLEHORSE – WE ARE SCIENTISTS, BONNIE PRINCE BILLY, GLEN HANSARD, FUTURE ISLAND, sono solo alcuni degli artisti presenti nella nuova puntata di RockWave, trasmissione condotta da Alberto Prisco.

In scaletta anche i ROLLING STONES con il singolo “Angry” tratto da ‘Hackney Diamonds’, il nuovo album in uscita il 20 ottobre. Sarà composto da 12 tracce ed è stato registrato in varie località del mondo, tra cui Los Angeles, Londra, Nassau, Bahamas e New York.

L’Italia è ben rappresentata da GRAND DRIFTER, progetto del musicista piemontese Andrea Calvo e dai romani SPIRITUAL FRONT di Simone Salvatori, con il loro ottimo omaggio al gruppo The Smiths.

A proposito di cover, THE FEELIES presentano la loro versione live di ‘Rock & Roll’, famoso brano dei Velvet Underground, che farà parte del nuovo album dal vivo e i LESS THAN JAKE, formazione ska punk nata in Florida nel 1992. Propongono una nuova versione di ‘Come Dancing’, brano scritto da Ray Davies dei The Kinks nel 1982, dedicato alla sorella maggiore René scomparsa improvvisamente su una pista da ballo, 25 anni prima.
